Creating unique paper gifts just for you.
Hi, I am Sarah. A military wife, mother of one, rider of motorbikes, drinker of wine , life style blocker, keeper of cows, chickens and a dog, and creator of paper crafts.
Over the past 17 years, we have moved 9 times and lived in 3 different countries as part of my husband's job and now we are living in the Manawatu in New Zealand. In June 2023, we will on the move again due to the military and this time we are heading to Florida.
I wanted to find something I could do for me, that could easily be moved from one location to another, and that would work around my family and my husband's career.
So a good friend took me to a card making class. I really enjoyed it and started making cards for my family and friends, who all said to try out some craft markets. So I did, and since then my love of paper crafts has grown.
Attending the craft markets gave me such a boost in my ability to create and I really enjoyed meeting and talking to new people.
I have enjoyed learning new skills and teaching myself how to make new creations over the years.
Pop Up box cards are a real passion of mine. I just love turning a sheet of paper into a special keepsake.
There are so many occasions that you can use these for and you are only limited by your own imagination.
A few years back, I taught myself how to make some Kusudama flowers, from watching some videos on YouTube. I have tried other flowers and found that I was good at it and enjoyed the process. I was asked to make the flowers for my Stepfather's wedding and after seeing people's reactions to them, decided to start making wedding flowers.
I make these from metallic paper, as this gives the flowers a bit of a shine. Not only do the flowers look great on the day, you get to keep them for years to come or give them away as gifts to guests.
This website will give you a look into what I have created in the past and give you an idea on what I could create for you.
As most of what I create is bespoke and unique, I prefer to have contact with my buyers, hence why I attend craft markets and why you will not see a buy it now shop on my website. If you would like to order then please do drop me email or give me call.
